Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP)

SMP is a permanent hair loss solution for all types of hair loss in men and women. Drops of pigment is deposited into the scalp just under the top layer of skin using an SMP needle machine creating micro-dotted impressions replicating real hair follicles. The overall look will be that of a shaved/buzz cut. You will not be able to tell the difference between real hair and SMP by looking at it.

 

A full SMP treatment typically takes three to four appointments of around three to four hours each to complete. Each appointment is ten to fourteen days apart for healing between each treatment session. A free no obligation consultation can be booked via our online booking system.

 

Pigment is diluted to match the colour of your shaved hair, any hair colour can be matched from black to blonde, ginger to even white.

 

SMP will slowly lighten over time, touch up sessions are recommended every 4-7 years, depending how well you look after it.

 

There isn’t any real risk for SMP, a patch test will be completed at least 48 hours before the first session to make sure that there is no allergies to the pigment. There is always a chance of infection when skin is being broken but with proper training, hygiene and infection control procedures this should be very rare.
